Eniko Deptuch Vaghy is a writer, artist, and editor who splits her time between Chicago and upstate New York. Her poetry has been recognized by the Academy of American Poets College Prize in the graduate division. Her work has appeared in Cordella Magazine, Luna Luna Magazine, Rogue Agent, Yes Poetry, Hog River Press, and Impossible Task. She is currently a PhD student in the Program for Writers at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is the the Founding EIC of the literary journal Lover’s Eye Press. Through LEP, she runs the Lover's Eye Press Podcast and the Lover's Eye Press Reading Series. Her visual art focuses on the uncanny, unexpected, and unusual.
